My first audiobook narration was just published! Cowboys is from the emerging novelist Harrison Dietzman, who by COMPLETELY RANDOM CHANCE happens to be my brother :) Truly, though, his light-touch descriptive prose plumbs ever-deeper human experience as it builds, in the manner of Denis Johnson (Train Dreams) or Clemens Meyer (While We Were Dreaming). I think he’s a great talent, and I look forward to lending my voice to his world as his career grows.

My next choir concert approaches Saturday June 20 in idyllic Monrovia: Watch this space for ticket announcements! In the meantime, I’ve just run a GAUNTLET of 26-27 Equity season auditions, leading me to repeat to myself “IIII’m gonna keep on singin’ up in NORTH - HOLLYWOOD!” with apologies to Chappell Roan. Of course you never know, but I don’t think my voice has ever sounded better tbh. Let’s break this dry spell, universe.
